I first spotted the innocent dolphin at 6:35am on Friday morning swimming circles at a high speed. The morning light hitting the fin against a glassy water surface caught my eye. We can only hope the dolphin departs the reserve soon.
The prior week my sister pointed me and her son to another stressed situation. A mother duck was trying to find passage to water for her ducklings. This time with a little help for two weaker ducklings to conquer two small steps the mother duck successfully led her family to waters edge. Without hesitation the mother Duck jumped and dropped 6 feet for a splash. Her helpless ducklings followed immediately and took the intimidating plunge. Within seconds after the last duckling jumped Family of ducks paddled away as team.
